Inspired by the old world tastes of the Mediterranean, our Tapenades (essentially pastes made with oil and Mediterranean vegetables such as olives, eggplant and sun dried tomatoes) offer endless cooking possibilities. Perfect served with crusty breads and raw vegetables as a dips, they also make an ideal sauce for grilled meats and strong flavoured fish. Our Tapenades come in 2.2 kg or 170 gram containers. Black Olive and Eggplant TapenadeIs a rich olive and eggplant spread seasoned with chilli & garlic. Perfect with pita or crackers or served with your favourite vegetables, stirred into pasta or as a topping for grilled steak. Kalamata TapenadeA rich olive spread seasoned for Greek Gods to enjoy. Particularly tasty as a spread on toast, accompany a foccacia, baked by itself on a pizza or as a topping for crackers. At Montana we call this flavour Black Gold. Semi-dried Tomato TapenadeOur semi-dried tomato tapenade is literally bursting with flavour! We use two types of tomatoes semi-dried and sun dried. Combining them with a wonderful blend of garlic, herbs and spices, we have created a great flavour to accompany most traditional dishes. This tapenade will add real zest to any salad, makes a fabulous sauce for pasta or simply serve tossed with green vegetables.
